Guys at Tribal War (Tribes fansite) has posted pretty interesting series of quickie Q&As with the people (including KineticPoet of Team Rabbit 2, ZOD and z0dd of the Base++, aka the Competition mod, and Nefilim, the creator of the Classic maps, and of course Alex "Marweas" Rodberg from Sierra) behind the Mods that Sierra is incorporating into Tribes: Fast Attack and the re-release of Tribes 2 that comes with it. (thanks HomeLAN) Here is an excerpt from the interview:
TW: What was it about Base++ and Team Rabbit that caught your eye when there are so many user made modifications to Tribes 2?
Marweas: Team Rabbit was a mod that really focused on style and speed over shooting, which I think is hugely refreshing for an FPS, and something that really speaks to the spirit of Tribes games. I also wanted something in the box that would help the competitive community of Tribes, and give them a way to compete that was appropriate for their level of play. Bottom line is, I expect them both to be fun, and that's worth putting in a box. [more]
