GamersClick: Why was the development process of Fast Attack halted? Alex Rodberg: The new mantra among the people working on Tribes at Sierra is that we will only ship AAA games. One day we sat down and played through the single-player game in Tribes Fast Attack and came to the conclusion that it wasn’t different enough from what we shipped in Tribes 2 for us to charge money for it. So we killed it and decided to give away all the other stuff that was going to be in the game for free, and re-release Tribes 2 at a super low price (which ended up being $10) and "re-introduce" it to the gaming public.
