Tribes 4 in Development? - briefly

According to Tribal War, Garage Games (ex-Dynamix devs) is working on a "spiritual successor" to Tribes (thanks VE3D). There's a video that looks to be the next Tribes game. There is also a photo of a workstation posted on Tim Aste's GarageGames blog. Does that armor look familiar? An official announcement is expected at GDC next month.

Update: Gamecloud talked on the phone this morning with GarageGames marketing director Jay Moore who said those images and video come from tech demos that the team has been working on for their Torque Engine and that no full blown development of a "Tribes successor" is in the works. Moore did confirm to Gamecloud that they plan to show off some of those tech demos at the Game Developers Conference next month.

I loved Tribes3 so much! (the singleplayer part; I'm not able to play multiplayer - no fast and cheap internet) I wish this would really be Tribes4, the idea to jump from character to character was great, and the gameplay was varied, always interesting.
