PC Game Central has conducted an interview with Torc Interactive's coder/founder Dermot Gallagher, he talked about their upcoming projects (ehmm rather first-person shooters) FATE, and tHE SeVeN. Here is an excerpt:
PC Game Central: Now that Unreal 2 is near its release date and Doom 3 and Quake 4 are on the horizon how do you feel FATE will compete with them in respects to gameplay, graphics, and multiplayer?
Dermot: As a newbie in the FPS arena we can’t afford to skimp on the gameplay or graphics fronts, for fear of being dismissed out of hand by such a fervent and educated target audience. In that respect, we’re aiming to be at least on a par on the gameplay and graphics fronts, and we’ll be making a decent stab at the multiplayer aspect (multiplayer isn’t really a priority for us with FATE, but we’ll leave the engine open in the hope that the mod community if feeling the need to add further multiplayer modes can do so).
