Run the V8ValvolineDemo.exe from the CD. Just follow the on-screen install process. The V8 Supercars Race Driver Valvoline Demo will then be installed. A new folder will be created in your Start menu. You can run the Hardware setup if you would like to change the graphics settings. This is recommended before you run Race Driver. The Hardware Setup program can be found in the Codemasters/V8 Supercars Race Driver Demo folder of your Start menu. It is recommended that the game is set to 32 bit colour for the best visual performance. Once you have selected your hardware setup click Save and Play.

Simulation Bonus: A simulation mode is available in the demo, which gives a more realistic car handling model. This can be activated from the Activate Bonus tab in the Bonus menu, within the Options menu. Activate ôSimö as the bonus code.

Points to note about V8 Supercars Race Driver Valvoline Demo: Game is currently only 70 % complete and does not represent the final quality of the game. V8 Supercars Race Driver has not yet been optimised, and is subsequently running at a much lower frame rate than the final game. Car and track lighting have not been finalised. Damage for cars has not been finalised. Races are limited to three laps.

Minimum PC requirements: PIII 700, 128Mb RAM, 32Mb accelerated graphics card, DirectX compatible sound card, 200MB free hard disk space.
