I've noticed over at BlackHole Motosports, that a new beta demo of TOCA Race Driver (a.k.a Pro Race Driver) is now available, superseding last year's alpha demo to offer a renewed opportunity to try out this upcoming touring car racing simulation by Codemasters. The demo features 3 cut-scenes from the full game and you get to do a test drive around Brands Hatch (short circuit) in a Proton Satria, and then a two lap race with the car and track depending on which territory you are in (DTM - Opel Astra at Norisring against 19 opponents; TRD - Lexus LS200 at Brands Hatch (Indy circuit again) against 13 opponents; PRD - Toyota Supra at Sears Point against 19 opponents). The handling is selectable - defaulting to arcade, but alterable to a more sim-like model from the options - bonus screen. The demo weighs 96MB and is available for download from BlackHole Motosports, 3DGamers, FragLand, WorthPlaying, Tiscali Games. Expect release date is around the end of March.

Nice...I've downloaded it, but have yet to install it. The screenshots look really nice.

oh man you are not kidding. especially if you set the camera at the bumper, it looks like you are literaly flying through the level. ah HIGH frames per second too, no laggy shit.

HIGH frames per second too !! yeah!! with a low PC- i play the four demos, that is great. Not a real sim, but too funny, i cant wait for play online !!
