- Post a comment Respawn Entertainment has a hit on their hands with the developer's mech shooter, Titanfall. According to NPD data for March of 2014, Titanfall was the number one selling game last month, beating out its biggest competitor, inFamous: Second Son. Notably, Titanfall released 10 days prior to Second Son, giving it a significant head-start on the competition. It's nice to see both South Park: The Stick of Truth and Dark Souls II on this list, even if the latter was beat out by the months-old Call of Duty: Ghosts. Hardware sales last month were up 78 percent from 2013, from $222 million to $395 million, largely driven by PS4 and Xbox One sales.
Here are last month's top ten best-selling games:
- Titanfall (XBO, PC)
- inFAMOUS Second Son (PS4)
- South Park: The Stick of Truth (360, PS3, PC)
- Call Of Duty: Ghosts (360, PS3, XBO, PS4, NWU, PC)
- Dark Souls II (PS3, 360)
- Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes (PS4, XBO, PS3, 360)
- NBA 2K14 (PS4, 360, XBO, PS3, PC)
- Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster (PS3, PSV)
