- Vista gamers need 2GB plus of memory - Far Cry is not that an
intensive game, and they ended up
with 1.23 GB page file and you can see that they are running a single
instance of Explorer and a task manager.
- Gainward Bliss 7800 GS 512 MB AGP -
This card's magic is that it
actually has G71, Geforce 7800 GT PCIe core bridged down to AGP!!
- NVIDIA 7600 GT vs. ATI X1800 GTO -
The form factor of the 7600 GT is
considerably nicer, being smaller, quieter and cooler. The X1800 GTO is
loud, clunky and annoying.
- How Quad-SLI works -
Quad SLI is largely designed for rendering at high resolutions, such as
the 2560x1600.
- Shuttle next-gen SFF PC exposed -
A typical spec, said Shuttle, is a
1.83GHz Core Duo T2400 processor; 512MB RAM - looks pretty coo!
- Samsung SyncMaster 214T Silver 21.3inch LCD Monitor -
The 214T showed no flaws in
terms of crosstalk, bleeding, or ghosting.
- Toshiba V604T analog TV and FM Mobile Phone -
The Toshiba V604T will be
available through Vodafone in Japan
- Sony's MZ-RH1 - MD is not dead -
The $340+ new model is very nice,
but pricey.
- French National Assembly approves copyright bill - Due to how
strong Apple is against licensing out its proprietary FairPlay DRM technology,
there is a good chance Apple will
withdraw its iTunes service from France completely if this bill passes,
particularly if only France decides to make this move.
