  • Portal and Team Fortress 2 Previews - C&VG has previews of Portal and Team Fortress 2.
  • Bill Roper on Hellgate: London Elite Interview - You gotta pay a monthly fee for Hellgate? GameSpy has conducted an interview with Bill Roper as he explains why exactly Hellgate's Elite multiplayer experience costs $10 a month.
  • Ron Gilbert On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness - Ron Gilbert will contribute to the design of Penny Arcade Adventures: On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness, the upcoming webcomic-based adventure game.
  • Spore Pushed to 2008 - During a recent EA conference call, it was revealed that the much-anticipated new title from The Sims creator Wil Wright, Spore, would be delayed until sometime in 2008. Why such a long delay is needed was not revealed.
  • Battlestations Midway Patch v1.1.1. - The new version includes bug fixes and a number of multiplayer improvements.
  • Company of Heroes Hotfix v1.6.1 - A new patch for the Relic-THQ WWII RTS game Company of Heroes has been released. The patch fixes  a bug where Allied halftracks were resistant to some forms of damage. The hotfix can be downloaded from 3DDownloads, FileFront, FileShack, GH, and SI.
  • Space Empires V Patch v1.35 - Strategy First has released a new patch for Space Empires V, updating Malfador Machinations' 4X space game to version 1.35. The patch is mainly for bug fixes.
  • Two Worlds Patch v1.1 - The Two Worlds Website now offers the first patch for Reality Pump's strategy/role-playing game.
  • Infernal Ships (US) - Eidos announces that Infernal is shipping, and that Metropolis Software's third-person shooter previously known as Diabolique should be in North American stores today. The game is also available online via Steam
  • Fallout 3 Casting - Bethesda announced some star power for Fallout 3, saying the game will feature the voice talent of Darkman himself.
  • EA Announces THE SIMPSONS GAME - Electronic Arts announced the upcoming release of THE SIMPSONS GAME (working title). The action-comedy will feature the full cast of voice actors from the TV show who will reprise their roles for the game. Under development by EA's Redwood Shores Studio, THE SIMPSONS GAME is scheduled for release in Fall 2007 for the PS3, PS2, PSP, Xbox 360, Wii and DS. The first previews can be found on GameSpot and IGN.
  • Forza Motorsport 2 Demo Coming Today (Xbox 360) - Microsoft will release a demo of Forza Motorsport 2 for Xbox 360 owners to download early on Thursday morning. The demo will be single player only and will contain one track and 24 cars from the full racing sim game.
  • Microsoft mulls Xbox 360 Folding@Home client - In an interview with the Mercury News, Microsoft Entertainment Business Corporate VP Peter Moore has discussed the possibility of introducing a Folding@Home client for the Xbox 360. The Xbox 360 could have sufficient processing power to make such an endeavor worthwhile. It's outfitted with a 3.2GHz IBM PowerPC processor-"Xenon"-that has 1MB of shared L2 cache and three independent, in-order cores, each capable of handling two threads simultaneously.

funny how the guy says this is the first multiplayer game that has 2 unique races going at it....such liars. Guess they haven't heard of the game savage, and many other games similar.
