offers
new

version 1.11 and

- Galactic Civilizations II: Dark Avatar Patch -
The Galactic Civilizations II Forums reveal the availability of a new
version of Galactic Civilizations II: Dark Avatar and Gold edition that's
now automatically available, bringing the space strategy game and its
expansion to version 1.5X3.
- HL2: Episode 1 Patch - Valve released
a patch for Half-Life 2: Episode 1 on Steam. The patch fixes some jerky
animations in demo recording, plus also attends to some SDK problems with
the expansion pack
- Neverwinter Nights 2 Beta Patch v1.05 -
A
large number of fixes and changes are in the new version, which is
accompanied by the usual warnings that the patch hasn't been fully tested,
and no support is offered.
- Sword of the Stars Patch v1.2.2 -
A new patch is now available for Sword of the Stars updating the spacey
strategy game to version 1.2.2.
- Vampire: the Masquerade - Bloodlines Unofficial patch v3.5 -
The latest patch for Vampire: the Masquerade - Bloodlines by Troika
Games has been released this morning. The patch adds numerous weapons,
sounds, and characters to an already plentiful game
- Sam & Max to Stores - Sam & Max, the legendary dog and rabbit
crime-fighting stars that have been reintroduced to the gaming public with
Telltale's downloadable episodic series Sam & Max: Season 1,
are finally returning to retail stores worldwide beginning in August 2007
- Monster Madness Due Out On May 15 - Southpeak Games has announed
that Monster
Madness, the Unreal Engine 3 based top down action game from developer
Artifical Studios, is now due for release on May 15 for both the Xbox 360
and PC platforms.
- Eidos Gets Steamy With Valve - Eidos Interactiveand Valve today
announce an agreement to deliver dozens of new and best-selling PC titles
via Steam.
- CryEngine2 Specifications Updated - Crytek have updated the
CryEngine2 specifications page on their site. There's now a lot more
information about the engine and all the features that have been
implemented.

- Halo 3 Set for September Release? - Microsoft Game Studios and
Bungie Studios
aim to ship Halo 3 in September, well before the biggest holiday rush begins,
IGN learned last week from two independent sources who asked to remain
anonymous.
- Retailers Demanding PSP Price Drop? -
1UP is
reporting through unnamed sources that some major retailers are making a
big demand to Sony; either drop the price of their low selling PSP portable
console or they won't sell the PSP in their stores
