- Joint Task Force Goes Gold - The
official Joint Task Force web site has word that the modern military RTS
game from Most Wanted Entertainment and HD Interactive has gone gold. The game
is due to be released in September.
- Dawnspire: Prelude Gameplay Trailer - Silent Grove Studios has
released a video featuring over
a minute of gameplay footage from Dawnspire: Prelude.
- Distant Guns Trial updated -
An updated trial version of Distant Guns is now available, offering an

German publisher dtp has announced that legendary adventure game designer
Jane Jensen will be offering a world exclusive debut of her latest project

- War Front: Turning Point Chat Today -
CDV will host a chat today
at the official War Front: Turning Point website with producer Elmar
Grunenberg beginning at 2 p.m. EST in the game's forums as he will answer
questions about the upcoming alternate history WWII RTS game from developer
Digital Reality.
- Voice Actor Tony Jay Passes Away - Having portrayed such characters
as MegaByte from Reboot, the Elder God from the Legacy of Kain and Soul Reaver
titles, as well as having a smattering of other roles in games such as World
of Warcraft, Fallout, and The Bard's Tale. Tony Jay also voiced in such Disney
films as The Hunchback from Notre Dame and Treasure Planet, as well as
providing the voice for Shere-Kahn in later updates of The Jungle Book.
He passed away
at the age of 73 due to complications from tumor surgery.

- Blazing Angels Confirmed as PS3 Launch Title - Recently, Ubisoft
announced that it would be bringing Ubisoft Romania's Blazing Angels Squadrons
of WWII (Xbox, X360, PC) to Wii at the system's launch. Today, Ubisoft
announced that the combat sim will also be part of the launch lineup for
Sony's upcoming PlayStation 3, which goes on sale November 17, 2006 in North
America
