  • Shadowrun Post-Launch Interview - While the multiplayer first person shooter Shadowrun has now shipped to stores it's still too early to tell if the PC-Xbox 360 cross platform multiplayer features will work as planned. In order to get some post launch comments on the Microsoft published game, FiringSquad got FASA Studios' manager Mitch Gitelman to give us some insight to the game now that Shadowrun has been released.
  • Crysis - 16 Minute Gameplay Video with Interview - CHIP Online recently posted a new 16 minute video featuring plenty of all new gameplay including an interview with Alex Marschal.
  • DirectX 10 Patch for Company of Heroes - The promised DirectX 10 patch for Company of Heroes has been released. Those of you with Windows Vista and a DX10 capable video card best start your downloading now. This patch also contains a few balance and bug tweaks.

  • id Developing New Title + No New Wolfenstein In '07 - Speaking to GamesIndustryBiz at a Quake Wars event in London, Todd Hollenshead revealed that id are developing a new game unconnected to any of their previous franchises and that the new title will utilise a new Carmack-made engine: "We are working on an all-new franchise: it's not Doom, it's not Quake, it's not Wolfenstein, it's not Enemy Territory, it's not even Commander Keen!" Hah :-)  He also mentioned was that the new Wolfenstein game won't be out in 2007, and that a PC version is in development too.
  • CoH - DX9
    CoH - DX10
Gods War Online Announced - Internet Gaming Gate announces Gods War Online, an upcoming "Hellenistic" MMORPG that offers a cartoony, anime-inspired approach to Greek mythology.
  • Halo 2 & Vista Problems - As the UAC tries to verify every program, in some cases numerous times, with an endless barrage of highly annoying "Do you want to install/run this program" windows. Virtually every power user and gamer deactivates the UAC within 5 minutes after installing Vista.. Sadly, it requires the UAC be enabled in order for Halo 2 to operate. Furthermore, the game will not run until one completes the registration for a Games for Windows - Live! account (more on this later). Simply bypassing the process causes the game to shut down.
  • Guild Wars: Eye of North Lore - NC Soft has released some Lore and Backstory concerning the upcoming Guild Wars expansion pack, Eye of North.
  • Warhammer Online Beta Signups - Warhammer Online Beta signups are now open.
  • Red Orchestra spring update, trailer and guest passes - As well as the update and trailer, all owners of RO now have a "guest pass" that grants a friend ten days with the full game.
  • Theatre of War Video Contest! - The winner will receive a $1,500 cash prize -or- a flight ticket to Moscow to meet with the 1C Company developers. Additionally, 10 Theatre of War posters or T-shirts (winner's choice) will be given away for free to the best voted 10 entries.
  • Linux Penumbra Overture - The Penumbra Overture website now offers online purchase of a Linux edition of Penumbra Overture, Frictional Games' horror/adventure game.
  • PSP Firmware 3.50 Available - The firmware ads remote play functionality, allowing you to access your Playstation 3 content ANYWHERE there is Wi-Fi and Internet access. That's badass.
  • Hour Of Victory Demo LIVE - Xbox360 owners have a chance to check out yet another Unreal Engine 3 title, Midway's Hour of Victory, which is now available on the Xbox LIVE Marketplace.
  • Game Prices to Go Down? - This article at Gameplayer identifies changes that are occurring in the games marketplace and looks into how they may influence the price of video games
