A new demo is now available for
Europa Universalis: Rome, offering the chance to sample the now-gold
strategy sequel. This playable demo includes playable countries Rome and

- Jack Keane Goes Gold - Strategy First announces that
Jack
Keane is gold, and the comedic point-and-click adventure is due in North
America on April 15.
- Moscow Racer Announced -
Akella announced Moscow Racer, a street racing simulation that's planned
for release in the third quarter of this year. Word is: "Developed by IRS
Games, Moscow Racer will offer a gamer to experience realistic car handling

- Warhammer: 40,000 Dawn of War II Announcement - THQ sent out
a press
release officially announcing that
Warhammer 40,000: Dawn
of War II is scheduled to bring the 41st Millennium's savage warfare to
life like never before in spring 2009. Powered by an enhanced version of
Relic's proprietary Essence Engine 2.0, Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II
will take players to the brutal frontlines of war where they'll experience
intense action and visceral combat through a non-linear single player
experience and a fully co-operative multiplayer campaign. Set in Games
Workshop's highly popular Warhammer 40,000 science fiction universe,
Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II is being developed exclusively for Windows
PC.
- Mercenaries 2 Arrives August 31 - Pandemic Studios' open-world
shooter
Mercenaries 2: World in Flames (PC, PS2, PS3, X360) is now slated for an
August 31
- Star Wars: The Force Unleashed To Be Released Sept. 16 -
LucasArts has announced that their long awaited and heavily hyped action
game Star Wars: The Force Unleashed now has a final release date of Sept. 16
in the US (the game will be released Sept. 17 in Asia and Sept. 19 in
Europe. The game will be available on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2, Xbox
360, Wii, Nintendo DS and PSP. The physics-intensive PS3 and X360 versions
were developed internally at LucasArts. Krome Studios is handling the PS2,
Wii and PSP iterations, with n-Space on the DS release.
- Alone In The Dark Delayed Again - The title, developed by Eden
Studios and published by Infogrames/Atari, was previously set for release
this May but will now be released on June 20 in Europe and on June 24 in the
US.

UT3 - Today Epic and Intel have announced
Unreal
Tournament 3's official mod contest, with prizes totalling $1,000,000.
