  • Interview With Robert Bowling on Modern Warfare 2 - Robert Bowling did a video interview with Giant Bomb, giving up some interesting info. Yes, it still runs at 60 frames per second. Yes, you rank up from match to match, constantly unlocking new weapons and special abilities as you go. You pull the left trigger to zoom in. Anyone who spent more than a few minutes online with the first Modern Warfare knows exactly how the action will feel in the sequel....
  • Saboteur gameplay video - A video for The Saboteur has been released showing about 45 seconds of gameplay footage as our hero walks through a fancy French gentleman's club.  The game is slated for release in  December 2009 for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 in the UK and US, respectively.
  • NFS Shift Launch Trailer -  Electronic Arts sends along the launch trailer for their now available racer, Need for Speed: Shift.
  • Tales of Monkey Island Chapter 3 This Month - Telltale Games reveals a September 29 release date for Lair of the Leviathan, the upcoming third chapter in the episodic Tales of Monkey Island series
  • Batman: Arkham Asylum DLC Coming Today - For those that aren't already playing it, here's a friendly reminder that the free Batman: Arkham Asylum DLC is coming out today. The "Insane Night Map Pack" includes two new challenge maps, dubbed "Totally Insane" and "Nocturnal Hunter." The content is already available for Xbox Live Gold members, and should be available on the PlayStation Network later today. While the download is technically available on the PC, some users are reporting issues with Games for Windows Live that are keeping them from grabbing the file.
  • Batman: Arkham Asylum - Can't uninstall - Removal guide - To manually remove Batman with the Registry Editor follow these steps
  • Fallout 3 GOTY Coming October 13th - Fallout 3 GOTY will be on retail shelves October 13th, 2009. The Game of the Year edition includes the critically-acclaimed game as well as all five downloadable content packs. The Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions will retail for $59.99 and the Games for Windows version will be available for $49.99.
  • Aion preorders nearing 400K, NCsoft is very pleased - NCsoft has announced that Aion preorders are nearing the 400,000 mark, making it the 'biggest MMO launch of the year'. As a bonus to those who preordered their copy, NCsoft is allowing buyers to pre-select their servers starting September 18 and participate in the five-day headstart period, beginning September 20.
  • Dungeon Runners Ending - The Dungeon Runners Website announces that NCsoft will be pulling the plug on this fantasy-themed MMORPG on January 1, 2010 due to lack of profitability
  • Grand Theft Auto 4 DLC Trailer Explores Terrorism - Rockstar has released new footage of The Ballad of Gay Tony, in the form of a special news report by Weazel News (an in-game news programme) titled "Guns in Liberty City". An Xbox 360 exclusive, "The Ballad of Gay Tony" hits October 29 in two forms--a $20 download that requires a copy of Grand Theft Auto IV, and as part of the $40 Episodes From Liberty City disc that also packs the first expansion and doesn't require GTA IV.
  • Brutal Legend Demo Today! (For Gamestop Preorderers) - If you've already got Brutal Legend preordered, specifically from GameStop, then today you can download the demo. The rest of the world will get it 'in the coming weeks'.
  • Left 4 Dead 2 Banned in Australia - Left 4 Dead 2 has been refused classification by Australia's Office of Film and Literature Classification, effectively banning Valve's co-op shooter sequel from sale in Oz.
Batman: Arkham Asylum free content available to download: Just a reminder: the free map pack contains two new Challenge maps that are available to play immediately when installed in the game. One map, Totally Insane, takes place in Arkham's records room while the other, Nocturnal Hunter, has Batman trying to stay in the shadows while also taking out enemies.
