- Hellgate London Collector's Edition Revealed -
The collector's edition will cost $59.99 and will have a bonus disk that
contains a "Making of Hellgate London" feature and the game's original
soundtrack, a map poster, a reprint of Dark Horse's Hellgate London comic
book and a unique in-game pet called Mantawraith.
- Indian-Themed MMO Game Revealed -
Sony Online has acquired the rights to the Virgin Comics series Ramayan
3392. The sci-fi/fantasy comic book series, co-created by self-help guru
Deepak Chopra and movie director Shekhar Kapur (Elizabeth) will be turned
into a MMO title by Sony Online with an Indian based dev team.
- EA Gets More Ubisoft - EA's stake in Ubisoft now gives them
a 25% voting interest and over 15% of the companies capital. Ubisoft is
set to release Assassin's Creed, Tom Clancy's EndWar, and Tom Clancy's
Splinter Cell: Conviction in the next Fiscal year.
- Stranglehold Xbox 360 Demo on Live! - It comes in at 1.3 gigs.
Expected play time is a good twenty minutes or so as it includes the first
level in the game, plus a few unlocks as well.
- Dragon's Lair HD Promo Xbox 360 Trailer - Digital Leisure has
released
a new trailer from Dragon’s Lair, showcasing the Xbox 360 version of
their game which will be available on August 15th
- Latest Wii Update Disables Freeloader Compatibility - Freeloader
was used by Gamecube players to play import games on their US systems,
simply by using the Datel product as a boot disc. According to a Nintendo
spokesperson,
there are no plans to fix the Freeloader since it is not an officially
licensed product.
- Xbox 360 Premium Confirmed Shipping With HDMI - Microsoft has now
confirmed to the media that the Xbox 360 Premium console shipping with HDMI.
The new systems can be identified via an HDMI logo on the console's box.
In addition,
Kotaku is reporting that the premium system may also be shipping with a
free game, 2K Sports Top Spin 2.
