Midway has officially announced that they plan to release The Wheelman, an upcoming action-adventure game for the PS3 and Xbox 360, along with a movie version of the game as well that will be produced by Paramount and MTV Games. The Wheelman is being developed as an adrenaline-charged action movie starring Vin Diesel as an expert wheelman who comes out of retirement to protect a woman from his past. The game and movie are slated to be released in late 2007 with the game acting as the prequel to the film.
