The Thing Preview - preview/review

GameSpy has written a new preview of The Thing based apparently on checking out the game during the recent Universal Interactive press event. The game should be released sometime in 2002 for PC, PS2, XBox. Here is an excerpt:
"The game will take you back to the Antarctic base and familiar locations from the film for a new chapter, with just as much of the feeling of isolation and paranoia. After failing to receive a message from the American scientific expedition that was, for all intents and purposes, wiped out by the alien in the movie, a military rescue team is sent to investigate their deaths. Even as they arrive and find the camp almost completely destroyed they know they are dealing with a power that they cannot fully comprehend and are not prepared for what is about to come. They will encounter the strange shape-shifting life form that assumes the appearance of the people that it kills." [more]
