Employing 15 weapons, such as an M60, grenade launcher, rocket launcher and a slew of melee weapons, Surreal's increased arsenal provides variance for gamers as they face uncommonly difficult and treacherous enemies. The range of opponents is wild. There's Triggerman (representing gang violence and guns on the street), the Suppressor (who represents prison guards and the brutality of prison), the Creeper, a psychopath, pedophile pimp who displays parts of women hanging off shards protruding from his body, and more evil, evil creatures. Three to four enemy characters (the Mainliner, Slayer, Marksman, and the Isolationist -- a revamped version of the character Fester) make the transition from the first game into Ties That Bind.
