The 10 Worst Things About Building a New Gaming PC -
There are a thousand things that could go wrong
, and any one of them could wind up costing hundreds of dollars. And yet we do it anyway. Why? Lord only knows. You shouldn't have chosen that CPU. It's a Haswell chip, and Haswells run too hot. You shouldn't have gotten those GTX 770s, because Nvidia is obviously going to reveal the 800 series soon and those will be much faster. You shouldn't have gotten that heatsink, because a water cooler will let you overclock much more. You shouldn't have gotten that monitor, you shouldn't use that keyboard, and you shouldn't have gotten the RAM with the heatsinks, because now your cooler fan won't fit in your case.
World's Smallest Computer -
The University of Michigan's computer science department has developed
a computer smaller than a grain of rice
.
Here's what happens when you plug a Surface 3 into itself -
Microsoft's new Surface 3 features USB charging which is a great addition to the tablet as it does away with the proprietary connectors of the past. So the question becomes what happens if you plug the Surface 3's USB 3.0 port into the charging port that is micro USB? When you create the connection, the Surface 3 acts as if it is plugged in. The icon in the taskbar switches to the charging icon and the device goes into the power mode as if it was plugged into the wall (brightness 100%) :D After a few minutes, Windows will say 'Plugged in but not charging' which means that
the device is smart enough to not create a loop ;-)

iOS 8.3 Lands with New Emoji and Message Filters -
Apple today made iOS 8.3 available
to the iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch. The update adds several new features to Apple's mobile devices, including more than 300 new emoji and an updated keyboard for using the emoji to personalize messages. The update adds the ability to filter incoming messages to help sort out junk. Siri gains the ability to speak Danish, Dutch, Portuguese, Russian, Swedish, Thai, and Turkish in iOS 8.3, and can now initiate phone calls via the speakerphone when requested. iOS 8.3 was released as a public beta earlier this year. The update is free to download. Apple also released OS X 10.10.3, which, among other things, adds Apple's new Photos application. The Photos app on Apple's Mac computers now mirrors the version on iOS devices. Apple is offering users a handful of cloud storage options for managing images stored in Photos, which can be accessed from Macs, smartphones, and tablets. OS X 10.10.3 is also free to download from Apple.

Star Trek: Renegades Official Trailer -
It has been seven long years since Enterprise left the air, and though we've had the recent big screen adaptation of Gene Roddenberry's futuristic vision (and the sequel coming next year), we feel the true home of Star Trek is as a continuing episodic series. The goal of this project is to make that happen. We, the team who brought you Star Trek: Of Gods and Men, are proud to announce Star Trek: Renegades, a professionally produced television pilot to be presented for a possible online series. Renegades, as the name suggests, will be bold, edgy and a little dark.
Renegades will feature a combination of familiar Star Trek faces
, plus a collection of hot, new rising actors.

Can't say I have ever had problems putting a PC together. I properly research and know what I am doing but god damnit I hate those Intel heatsinks. Worst F'ing thing ever. I must curse a million times putting that thing on. In the many years I built custom PC's, never had an instance of having to return to fix something. The only thing here was ATI video cards which I no longer offer as an option because they are a total POS.
