  • TDK Develops 320GB Blu-ray Disc - TDK Corp developed a write-once optical disc with a capacity of 320 Gbytes. It has ten layers, and each layer has a storage capacity of 32 Gbytes. The new optical disc has a larger capacity than the Blu-ray disc, which has a capacity of 25 Gbytes per layer. And it is possible to write and read data on and from the disc by using a blue-violet semiconductor laser with an oscillation wavelength of 405nm and an objective lens with a numerical aperture (NA) of 0.85, which are currently used for the Blu-ray disc.

  • First Official Trailer for Oren Moverman's The Messenger - Oscilloscope has just debuted the official trailer for The Messenger, not to be confused with the Joan of Arc movie The Messenger or that horror movie The Messengers. The Messenger will open in limited theaters starting on November 13th this fall.
  • Second and Final Saw VI Trailer Has Arrived! - Saw VI is directed by first-time feature filmmaker Kevin Greutert, who edited all five of the previous Saw movies before this and directed a few horror short films. Lionsgate is bringing this latest installment, Saw VI, to theaters everywhere on October 23rd, a year from the last one.
