Hard Drive Buying Guide -
Like RAM, you can never have enough hard drive storage space
. It always seem to run out before you realize it. Maybe it's all that porn and bootleg anime you have been downloading. So, should you just run out and buy the hard drive with the largest capacity that you can afford? Or is there more to it than just storage space?

Hitachi Creates Blu-Ray Camcorders -
Hitachi announced it will begin
selling camcorders that record in the Blu-ray Disc
high-definition format, launching the latest salvo in the high-def video war between Blu-ray and HD DVD. In related news,
HD DVD outshines Blu-ray Disc
with a better version of '300'. Oh well. $150-$200 for a player is acceptable. But I still won't buy until the discs are on par with DVD prices. They're just too expensive. Also, who cares about extra features?

Jake Brown falls 40+ feet & walks away! (video) -
Amazing (yet scary) video of this year's XGames
on the huge halfpipe. Jake Brown does a 720, then attemps a 540. He for some reason bailed on the 540 and fell a shocking 4 stories on his hip. Very scary!
The Most Intense Tattoo You'll Ever See (pics) -
check it out!!
The Perfect Girlfriend (video) -
Everyone say hello
to the worlds perfect girlfriend! :-)
Scarlett Johansson - Louis Vuitton Advertising Photoshoot -
I don't really like to give companies free advertsing,
but when you get Scarlett Johansson to show that much cleavage
in order to sell some stupid handbags, then that is what I call marketing genius!

Amazing how 'normal' the specs of peoples machines are :) (VALVE survey)
Yet hardware is still pumped out at crazy prices and crazy speed! You would think we changed our systems once a week
I remember hx mentioning that he never upgraded to the 64+CPUs he wanted for his 939 mobo because AMD stopped making them?
It's a waste of hardware!
I'm lucky if i get 2 CPUs in the life of one of my mobos before they are discontinued (that's in 13years of upgrading)
Even then, when you find the CPU your after, inevitably on Ebay , it's got dozens of people chasing it and the prices are what would have been retail. Defeats the reason why Intel/AMD stop making them when they are still so sought after...sigh

Exactly...I still own 939 mobo with Athlon 3500+...But the upgrade is inevitable ](*,)
