  • Firefox 4 Released; Brings Windows XP, GPU Rendering Support - Mozilla has released Firefox 4. The final build comes less than two weeks after Release Candidate 1. The company originally found no major problems in the RC1 build, and decided to release RC1 as the final version, but then changed its mind. An RC2 build was quietly pushed out on March 18, 2011 with a few fixes, and today the final bits appeared on Mozilla's servers. If you're already running a previous build of Firefox 4 you should see an automatic update starting tomorrow. Alternatively, you can download the final build directly for Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux 32-bit/64-bit. The final version supports 83 languages.
  • MS shuts down spam behemoth Rustock, reduces worldwide spam by 39% - Microsoft's Digital Crimes Unit, working with federal law enforcement agents, has brought down the world's largest spam network, Rustock. Rustock, at its peak, was a botnet of around 2 million spam-sending zombies capable of sending out 30 billion spam email per day. Microsoft's wholesale slaughter of Rustock could reduce worldwide spam output by up to 39%.
  • Game Developer 'Fed Up With Space Marines!'  - The devs behind Heavy Rain say they are fed up with space marines and the industry's "lack of imagination." Well, just because the developer's tastes have changed since he turned 40, doesn't change the fact there is a fresh batch of 12 - 32 year olds dying to play space marine games.
  • TomTom Shows Live Traffic via the Web - Tom Tom is providing a live traffic map via the web for the use of travelers to get a good idea of the traffic conditions prior to planning a trip. Presently the area of coverage is limited to Europe and South Africa.
  • Morgan Spurlock's 'The Greatest Movie Ever Sold' Trailer - Morgan Spurlock returns with tongue-in-cheek perfection as he examines the world of product placement, marketing and advertising by making a film financed by product placement, marketing and advertising. This first premiered at Sundance and was bought by Sony Classics. POM Wonderful Presents: The Greatest Movie Ever Sold will hit theaters starting on April 22nd.
  • Another New Trailer for Scott Stewart's 'Priest' Adaptation - Priest is an adaptation of the TokyoPop manga created by Hyung Min-woo. It fuses the western genre with supernatural horror, gun fu, and dark fantasy themes and is notable for its unusual, angular art style. ScreenGems is making a big bet and has scheduled Priest for release on May 13th in full-on 3D.
  • Movie Titles in Movies - Eighty titles in 2mins. That's like a hundred titles a minute!
  • Eye of Sauron In Your Office! - check it out
  • How to hack video screens on times square (video) - Some of the most popular viral videos are the ones that make you ask yourself, "Did that really happen?" This week, a buzzy clip on YouTube showed a guy apparently hacking into video screens in Times Square with just an iPhone and a piece of hardware the man calls a "video repeater." It's unbelievable, but the video looks thoroughly convincing. And so far the clip has been seen nearly 1.5 million times.
  • Vanessa Hudgens Looks Smokin' Hot in Sucker Punch - Vanessa Hudgens is doing everything she can to outgrow her 'High School Musical' image, including playing sexier roles. In the new action-fantasy 'Sucker Punch,' the former Disney starlet plays one of a group of young girls who band together to escape imprisonment in a insane asylum.
  • Miranda Kerr is Back and Better Than Ever - Miranda's potent combination of innocent cuteness and smoldering sexuality make her one of the most in-demand models working today.
  • Jennifer Lawrence Esquire Photoshoot - Jennifer Lawrence lost this year's Best Actress Oscar to Natalie Portman, but the stunning 20-year-old has just beat out several other actresses for a role that could make her a superstar!

Switched from FF3.6 to Fx4 in November, most extensions have been working fine through beta/trunk builds, and all the best ones I know have been fully updated now.
