"Now with 12.54% more trampiness..." :P Anyways, I'm pretty keen for an upgrade because I am still running my 3500+ from a couple years ago. This 45nm update will be the way to go for sure. The chips should clock harder than even the new 65nm g0 step Q6600. I just have not figured out if it's worth jumping on the DDR3 train just yet. I will be looking to get the new system in Jan.

Good link, thanks. Yeah it seems silly to go DDR3 even in Jan. Although by the end of next year I think it would have taken hold and have more mainstream prices. I guess I could just swap mobo and ram later in the year if the performance benefit is worth it...and it looks like it will be.
