This is just stupid, the whole point bout TO is the fats and unrealistic gameplay, the bunnyhopping and the rushing. It's a whole different game than CS, so there is no need to compare them. This unrealistic gameplay brings a game were skills are needed, and not only lucky headshots. Cause thats what CS is about these days, any noob can get frags, and it is hard for the real good player to distuinguwish themselves from the noobs, you don't have this in TO.

I agree that 3.15 (or aot) in its present form is alot less fun that the previous version(beta 2.2) BUT I cannot agree with the scoring of 55% due to the fact that they even on their homepage (http://www.tactical-ops.to i think) state that it is a semi realistic game. ie not supposed to be a simulator but an actiondriven game. And about playability... Ive been playing since Beta 1.5 and I am still hooked on the game since it suits me better than CS does. last note: Im sure they will fix the overall weirdness in 3.15 (aot) soon enuff.

TO:AoT without the DM, TDM and CTF modes I enjoyed in 2.2 is not worth the $30 I payed for it. TO:AoT , the way it is today, should be lowered in price by at least $10-$15.

Can you please stop with this "lack of game modes" in each review I see this... This is a counter-terrorist MOD there are no DM,CTF or whatever in this type of game..do you know what your are talking about ?? And YES you must compare it to CS because CS is worst in every way compared to TO and..I don't see anyone asking for a DM or CTF mode in CS do I ?? You are a bunch of paid morons this is ridiculous,grow up and start making quality reviews ofr God's sake !

Version 2.2 is just far cooler than AoT (3.15), with other weapons and so. AoT is just a (bad) cs clone, but version 2.2 owns AoT and cs

there certain a couple of things which could be done better and yes the earlier versions has more spirit in it then this retail version, but it's still a damn interesting game. at least the maker of the game is always in contact with the people and they really listen to the points people bring into. if you don't wanna pay for it then you can download it for FREE also coz it's just like counterstrike. a download version and a retail version. this is a stupid review. my words on it.. go tactical !!!!

1) The time limit per round is configurable by the server admin. 2) You do not find "forgotten joints on the floor", they are bags of weed. 3) "There aren't an interesting modes and even an interesting mission scenarios." So, stealing a top secret spy craft, blowing up a dam, launching missiles off a nuclear submarine, releasing a deadly virus, and storming an ancient monestary aren't exciting? I'd like to see you name a scenario that you'd consider "interesting". 4) "weapons seem to lack realistic recoiling" Two points for this one. First off, you've obviously never used the RK3 or SW Commando (HK 33 and Sig 551 Commando, respectively) have you? They kick pretty good on full auto. My second point is that this is a SEMI REALISTIC GAME. Which means you are SUPPOSED to be running around, guns blazing, with amazing accuracy. Thats what makes it fun, like James Bond or Rambo kinda fun. Its NOT Ghost Recon. 5) 3+4+3/15 is 66%, not 55.

I think this game is not that bad, with dozens of maps and weapons, it is ok for a switch from CS but not really worth the retailed price in my opinion.I have to say the AI is the worst I've ever seen, my teammates are running to the wall and stuck there, how stupid it is. The AI of UT doesn't show this problem, so it is a shame to borrow the UT engine

AOT is Absolutetly irritating to play, its sucks, 1.5 1.8 2.0 and 2.2 were da shit. I wish in the new version of AOT they will make it more like the old 2.2 beta it absolutly ROCKS AOT on the other hand SUCKS

i think that most of the negative comments from people are just plain BS. i mean comon .. 29.95 for the retail price of a new release game.... thats cheap, and if you shop around (EB) you can find it used for half that. i can go thru 30 bucks worth of illegal (gurd<) fun in minutes.. and this game have given me months of enjoyment with graphics quality graphics from a quality game engine. CS lovers.. you can suck it. if valve or the creators of CS gave a crap about you ... in the YEARS they have had.. they surely could have put a new game on the shelf.. instead they just keep raping you with BS updates to an already DATED game and engine.. thats my opinion.. oh well...

well.. first of all, I want to ask you a question; did you ever play this online? and I guess you said lack of multiplay mode? You can have hell out of fun playing this online, of course it'd be so boring to frag lame bots. (perhaps, is the AI in CS that awesome?) As many mentioned above, this is a semi-realistic game, are you expecting to see some real life SWAT-situations in this game? how lame are you? TO and CS are totally different games. There is no point to compare and contrast very different games. You just want to criticize this without playing it online. I think you really need to visit the official site of the game before write a shitty review :)

TO is a good game, its better then CS (computer magazin says: TO is better then CS its smaller bud better). and with the new patch 3.4.0 it makes it only better so fuck of you losers of CS players and start playing a better game then CS. CS is full of cheaters and lame ass campers and the gameplay sucks also. there mabey more players with CS ( bad tast i think or are they all losers and cheaters) bud TO is groing more and more, 18 months ago there whas only 800 people playing TO now there are more then 2300 playing. so piss of with your sucking CS. i have played it fore 1 month bud it makes me sick.

why does you people want to buy it? just get it from the net. i play this game since 2.2 version, about 2 years ago, i love it, any one that play's it say that CS is crap, i recommend to that people that don't want to lose money buying games to get this one.
