- Project Offset movie - FileCloud has
a new movie (15MB) for
Project Offset, an
upcoming FPS set in a epic fantasy world. This new trailer shows off some test
footage of a crowd scene.
- Takeda 2 tutorial movie - Magitech has released
a new
movie trailer for Takeda 2 to show their feudal 3D turn-based/real-time
strategy sequel in motion. This 282MB/47MB tutorial movie demonstrates the
battle mode in 3.5 minutes of gameplay footage narrated by a developer.
- Falcon 4.0: Allied Force Patch v1.0.5. - Lead Pursuit has released
a new
patch for Falcon 4.0: Allied Force, brining their modern combat flight
simulation to version 1.0.5. The patch re-enables force feedback and addresses
a couple of crashes.
- Chaos League: Sudden Death v2.03 patch -
A new patch is available for Chaos League: Sudden Death, updating the
expanded fantasy-themed sports game to version 2.03.
- Battlefield 2 mod tool kit beta v2 -
This v2 update brings the tools in sync with the v1.12 patch.
- Strike Ball 2 released - The brick-busting fun for which Alawar is
famous is just the beginning in
Strike
Ball 2 (demo
~15MB). The makers of this new Arkanoid game have improved the visuals and
crafted some amazing 3D levels.
- Free preview of Guild Wars: Factions -
The free
weekend runs from midnight PST on January 20th to midnight PST on the
22nd, and a game key and downloadable client are available from the Guild Wars
website.
- Obsidian Entertainment Working On PC/PS3/Xbox360 Action RPG? -
It seems Obsidian Entertainment, the team behind Neverwinter Nights 2 and
Knight Of The Old Republic 2 is looking for Xbox360 and PS3 programmers.
- Lionhead's The Movies Film Festival -
The content will officially launch on Jan. 20 during the Sundance Film
Festival where players will be able to not only make movies using the game but
upload them for a virtual film festival, complete with awards.
- True Crime and Gun sequels stillborn? -
Gamespot reports that there won't be any sequels for Gun and True Crime:
New York City. Activision did not respond to requests for comment.
- Possible Revolution Menu? - This
video comes from Nintendo.co.jp via Google Video and appears to be some
kind of menu system, presumably for Nintendo's forthcoming Revolution console.
The name found on the video reads "Nintendo RS" and is dated 12/29/2005

- Postal Linked In Moscow Violence -
20-year-old Muscovite Alexander Koptsev entered a Moscow synagogue
yesterday according to Russian newspaper
Pravda. "I came here to kill," he said to a Rabbi before hospitalizing
eight individuals during evening prayers. Four of those injured are still in
severe condition, and Running With Scissors' Postal is linked in the attack.
