GameBanshee have an interesting interview with NWN 2 lead designer Kevin
Saunders about the recently-announced expansion.
- Dimensity Announced -
The official
Dimensity website reveals a new strategy game (with the inevitable
role-playing elements) in the works at DAGGERGAMES Studio. The game will
feature a full 3D engine, four races, classes, multiplayer support, and
more.
- Talisman announced (PC, PS3, Xbox 360) - Based on Games
Workshop's classic board game,
Talisman is the quintessential fantasy hybrid board/role-playing game
for up to four players, either online or offline. The game takes place in a
fantasy realm and is based very closely on the board game through a 3D
representation of the map with animated movements and in-game events.
- Theater of War Sound Effects Trailer -
This over 12 minute long video focuses on the sounds of battle that you
will hear in Theatre of War! Listen to the sound and fury of strafing runs,
armored vehicles on the move, awesome artillery barrages, infantry
assaulting and tanks slugging it out.

A new English-language demo for
Alpha Prime is now
available, offering another sample of Black Element's first-person shooter.

released an updated demo for Penumbra: Overture, their upcoming
first-person, horror-adventure game for the PC.
- Adrenalin 2: Rush Hour Russian Demo -
A demo allowing you to try out the Russian version of Adrenalin 2: Rush
Hour, the sequel to the last year's critically acclaimed racing/show game.
- UFO Afterlight Patch v1.5 -
The UFO Afterlight Website now offers new patches to update the various
editions of ALTAR Games' UFO strategy game to version 1.5. In related
news, the North American edition of the game is gold, and due in stores on
May 1.
- DANCE! Online Lets You Dance... Online! - Acclaim, which has been
reborn from run of the mill publisher to massively multiplayer online game
development house, has released its latest MMO,
DANCE! Online
for public consumption. It's free, but Acclaim will be raking in the
dollars and cents with microtransactions in the form of downloadable
clothing and accessories.
- Bungie confirms HALO 3 X-button functionality - Bungie staffer
Frankie confirmed that
Halo 3's mysterious X-button will be used to deploy equipment like the
trip mines and bubble shields we saw in the recent Vidoc, and as of now is,
appropriately enough, called Equipment.
- Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix for XBLA and PSN announced -
- Guitar Hero II Update Fixes Whammy Bar Issues -
A title update for Guitar Hero II for the Xbox 360 will be available on
Xbox Live at 4:00 am PDT on Saturday, April 14 that should resolve the
situation where input from the whammy bar was not always recognized.
Downloading the update should resolve this issue for all Activision Guitar
Hero branded guitar models.
- Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo and Super Puzzle Fighter 2 remakes
announced -
Capcom will be release HD remakes of Super Puzzle Fighter and Super
Street Fighter 2 Turbo via Xbox Live Arcade and the Playstation Network.
