Stronghold Legends Announced - briefly

2K Games sent out a press release announcing Stronghold Legends, the next game in the long running castle sim-RTS series by Firefly Studios. The game should be available in fall 2006.

Stronghold Legends is a dramatic addition to the series, combing a range of new gameplay innovations including a new strategic conquest style of play and exciting new multiplayer modes. Gamers can play as King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table, Count Vlad Dracul or relive the heroic sagas of the mighty Siegfried of Germany in twenty-four missions that span across three unique campaigns.

there are scrreeeeenshots here : http://www.tothegame.com/screenshot.asp?id=5083 buh, it doesn't look really nice.. i miss the 2D of Stronghold 1, really aside from that it sounds interesting Kinghts of the Round Table ! i always loved the light Monty Pythons ambience in Stronghold 1 (mostly the voices, i guess), so hey, why not ? :D
