The last week or so has been a bit of a blur in the Stranglehall. We're all super busy getting ready for alpha. Alpha is a mythical time in a game's life where everything is done, it's just not done all the way quite yet. You can play the entire game from front to back, and it's especially satisfying to take down a boss, bask in the glory of your victory, and then arrive at the next level full of baddies and stuff ready to get blown up.

And even though it's very chaotic, it's also really exciting! We're getting around to all the little things that we haven't just yet. We've added a couple new types of gameplay noone outside the team has seen or heard about. We're "tightening up the graphics" across the board. We're trying out a few new little tricks that will add that extra bit of wow and John Woo-ness. And all this hard work will culminate with a new round of intensive playtesting and QA.
