The PC version of Stranglehold, for all of the features, campaigns and the rest, is the same as the two console versions. The main difference are the controls and the power of most PCs. Stability was a bit of an issue last night as rental computers gave the team some problems, but what we did manage to get through was as fun and crazy as ever. For those that feel they need a game pad, the game will still support the Xbox 360 controller just fine, but those of us that want to use a mouse and keyboard will find the response plenty satisfactory. We used the standard set-up last night with WASD for movement, the left mouse for firing, and space to perform diving jumps and use the environment for all of the special acrobatic moves like running up a staircase railing, jumping onto a rolling cart, or sliding down a zip line. All of the special maneuvers such as healing and aimed shot were mapped to the keys 1-4 so access was easy for everything you might need. Stranglehold isn't exactly a complicated game, so it's not really a surprise that everything worked as it should. We're just hoping those stability issues really were due to the rental computers and not the game. We'll see for ourselves in a couple of weeks when the game is supposed to go gold.
