Starcraft 2:Legacy of the Void beta kicks off today - briefly

As it's often the case with Blizzard games, not everyone will be able to access the beta from the get-go, with beta keys scheduled to be sent in waves to those who have signed up on Battle.net. The Starcraft 2: Legacy of the Void sign up process is pretty straightforward and you can check it out here. While you're there make sure you opt in for all the other betas as well, especially for the Overwatch one, which is set to begin sometime later this year.
As for Starcraft 2: Legacy of the Void, this is the third and final chapter in the highly acclaimed sci-fi RTS trilogy. Unlike in Wings of Liberty and Heart of the Swarm where the focus was on the Terran and Zerg, respectively, the third installment will be focused entirely on the Protoss. You can still expect to see well known characters like Jim Raynor and Sarah Kerrigan, but the main protagonists this time around will be Zeratul and Artanis. What makes Starcraft 2: Legacy of the Void a bit more special than its predecessor is the fact that this is a standalone expansion pack, so you won’t need the previous titles in order to play it. |
