STALKER 2 Update 1.1.4 - patch

GSC GameWorld has just released the first title update of the year 2025 for STALKER 2, and shared its full patch notes. Patch 1.1.4 fixes the crashes and freezes that could occur during the shaders compilation process. As such, the game should no longer crash during it. The devs claimed that it did their best to identify the issues that were causing those crashes and, eventually, fix them. Title Update 1.1.4 also fixes a memory leak that could occur at Rostok location. Moreover, it fixes performance degradation when shooting/aiming on saves with long playtime. Plus, it fixes a random crash related to UI animations. Like always, Steam will download this update the next time you launch its client.

        Fixed crashes and freeze on shaders compilation
        Fixed memory leak occurred at Rostok location
        Fixed performance degradation when shooting/aiming on saves with long playtime
        Implemented fixes, that should solve the problem causing saves to be lost on Xbox
        Fixed a random crash related to UI animations.
