HomeLAN has posted an interview with Freedom Games's Eric Young as he talks about their next WWII 3D strategy game that shares his name Eric Young's Squad Assault: West Front. According to this interview, the game is slated for release in second quarter 2003. Here is a slice:

HomeLAN - What can you tell us about the actual gameplay in Squad Assault?

Eric Young - There are three basic modes of game play in Squad Assault. First is real-time action akin to Close Combat. Second is Real-time action with pause and issue orders. This will allow players to slow down the action when they choose to do so. Third is the auto pause turn based mode. Auto Pause will allow for a turn based method of play.
