AM2 announced today that the sequel to their popular Dreamcast adventure title 'Shenmue' will incorporate two new gameplay subsystems; Icon Selector and Action Selector. Icon selector is a breakdown of different functions and items corresponding to the buttons on the face of the Dreamcast controller. The icons can change depending upon your location, needs, and the proximity to other people. The Action selector system will allow players to interact more effectively with other people. Thereby, users can ask questions about specific topics by pushing a corresponding icon. In addition, AM2 has confirmed that maps of areas in Shenmue II can be bought at a variety of locations including ATM-like machines. [more]
