Sea of Stars three-player local co-op mode announced - briefly

Sabotage Studio will release a three-player local cooperative mode for Sea of Stars dubbed “Single-Player+,” the studio announced. A release date was not announced. “This mode allows for three players to journey together in Sea of Stars,” Sabotage Studio said. “Staying true to the game’s core turn-based roots, each player will engage in traversal and combat with a new ‘co-op timed hits’ mechanic as they embark with friends on Sea of Stars‘ grand adventure.” Additionally, the developer announced that Sea of Stars has been played by over five million people since launch.

Sea of Stars launched for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC via Steam on August 29, 2023. It is also available via PlayStation Plus Game Catalog for PlayStation Extra and Premium members, and Xbox Game Pass for Console and PC.
