According to Avault, the futuristic graphic adventure, Schizm, created at Polish studio LK Avalon, has gone gold. The game has been in production for close to 36 months and will be released this month. It is one of the first titles produced for the PC-DVD format and will also be released on PC-CD.
Schizm requires about 10 GB (whoa!?) of space, which is one of the reasons it was produced for the DVD format. The game features 360 degree panoramic views in hundreds of different locations, full motion high resolution video sequences featuring human actors in virtual environments, and atmospheric music with full 360 degree sound positioning. The plot was written in collaboration with Australian award-winning science fiction writer Terrence Dowling.

I bought the CD rom version and I am disgusted with the poor quality graphics. It is total incompetance. The images are blurry, jpg compression bleed. The DVD version may be ok, but definately DO NOT waste your money on the CD Rom version. You have been warned.
