- More CS: Source And Day Of Defeat Source Content Coming -
Valve's weekly Steam news update has some new info on upcoming content for
Counter-Strike: Source and Day of Defeat Source: "Counter-Strike: Source and Day
of Defeat: Source also have some new content nearing completetion.
Counter-Strike: Source will see the addition of two new player models and an HDR
enabled version of de_dust. Day of Defeat: Source has a new map on the way that
will introduce a new gameplay mode."
- Daemonica Demo/Trial - Meridian 4 has released
a
playable demo for Daemonica to offer a chance to try out the top-down 3D
medieval adventure by Czech developers RA Images and Cinemax. This is a trial
version that allows you to play the game for up to a generous 60 minutes, but
also includes all content of the full game that you can activate after

- Free Xbox Live Weekend -
While your gamercard will still show as silver on Xbox.com and in the
console, the Xbox Live service will ’see’ you as a gold account. That means that
all this weekend (3/31-4/2) all US based silver accounts will be able to
experience online Xbox 360 multiplayer play. If you still have a silver account,
now would be a good time to earn some of those multiplayer achievements like the
ones in Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighteror Perfect Dark Zero.
- Star Wars KotOR3: Not in development...yet -
Contrary to recent rumours that Obsidian is already developing KotOR3,
TotalVideoGames revealed some comments from Feargus Urquhart made during an
upcoming NWN2 interview: "We have been talking with LucasArts to do KOTOR3 since
August 2004 and we hoped to do it since KOTOR2 was done. LucasArts is thinking
what they want to do with it and we would happily make KOTOR3, if that's what
LucasArts wants to do."
- Square Enix Responds To FFXIII On PS3 Rumors -
The Square
Enix PR team has responded to all the rumors flying around in the last 48
hours or so about Final Fantasy XIII on the Playstation 3. They claim that they
have not released any information on the game, and remind us that April Fool's
day is today. IGN screws us yet again!
