- The Movies Walkthrough Movie - Lionhead has released
a new gameplay
movie from The Movies. This movie is different in that it also serves as a
"how-to" guide to playing the game with narration added to show how to use the
game. The Movies will be available next week.
- UFO: Aftershock movie -
A
final movie trailer for UFO: Aftershock is now online, showing off the new
turn-based 3D tactical combat sequel by ALTAR Interactive.
- Need for Speed: Most Wanted movies -
Yet another pair of movies for Need for Speed: Most Wanted has been
released, continuing the relentless flood of trailers for the imminent urban
racing simulation sequel by EA Canada.
- 80 Days trailer -
Here's
the official trailer of 80 days (44MB), the new adventure game in full 3D
developed by Frogwares.
- New CS: Source Map screenshot -
As promised last week,
the most recent Steam news update
feature a peak at what's in store for CS: Source fans this month: ". The first
piece we release will be the map de_nuke, shown in the screenshot below. Also

- Call Of Duty 2 Linux Server - Activision now sends along the
official dedicated Linux server for Call of Duty 2, the World War II
first-person shooter sequel by Infinity Ward. This small file for setting up a
multiplayer server with the Linux OS does require the original game data and
is not officially supported.
- Linux Cold War Demo - LinuxGames now offers
the release of a Linux demo for Cold War, a sample of Mindware Studios'

- Exotic Minesweeper Demo -
Exotic Minesweeper is an impovement of the famous Minesweeper game. There
are many different board variations with cells of different shapes:

that they have released the
HiTilesAF terrain expansion pack for the new flight combat sim, Falcon

an article giving insight into the Economy of one of the most popular
online games today, Guild Wars.
- Neocron Evolution 2.1 Release Date -
The free Neocron Evolution
2.1 upgrade will be released on December 01, 2005. It will be available as
a (large) patch, but a new client containing all patches and the upgrade can
also be downloaded from the Neocron 2 website. Neocron Evolution 2.1 is a free
upgrade package for the action-oriented cyberpunk MMORPG Neocron 2. It updates
many of the models used in the game, including the complete vegetation of the
game world and many weapons. Several features of the graphics engine have also
been updated for better performance and improved visuals. In addition, new
content will be added in form of quests and a new dungeon to explore.
- EA Provides Downloads To Game Soundtracks - Electronic Arts
announced today that it has teamed up with Nettwerk Music Group for EA
Recordings, a new venture
that will
give folks access to paid downloads of original soundtracks from EA games
on services like iTunes, MSN, Yahoo Music, AOL Music, Rhapsody and others.

A BBC TV show screened in the UK tonight has offered glimpses of Xbox 360
rejected designs.
- Auto Assault OPERATION: OUTPOST Contest Underway -
The
contest invites participants to submit names for the PvP Outposts located
contested areas of the Central Wastelands. Winning entries will actually be
used in the game and winners will receive a fancy, custom-framed, signed
certificate to commemorate their contribution to the Auto Assault game world
and other fabulous prizes.
