- Children of the Nile movies - Titled Mill Entertainment has
released
another pair of movie trailers for Children of the Nile, continuing the
bonus feature for their upcoming Egyptian 3D management strategy game.
- FlatOut Ragdoll Drivers - Empire Interactive has released
a new movie
trailer for FlatOut, showing more of the crash-prone racing simulation
game in the works at Bugbear Entertainment. This high-resolution movie
demonstrates the many varied ways in which the game's ragdoll drivers can be
launched from vehicles.
- Need for Speed Underground 2 Trailer - Games Domain has posted
a new trailer for Need for Speed Underground 2.
- "The Moment of Silence" German Demo - House of Tales has released
a German playable
demo for The Moment of Silence, allowing you to try out their new

- AirStrike 3D: Operation W.A.T. updated demo v1.60 - There is
another
updated playable demo for AirStrike 3D: Operation W.A.T. to elevate the

- Warcraft 3: TFT - Echo Isles Bonus Map - Blizzard has released
a new 1v1 bonus map for Warcraft 3: The Frozen Throne, titled Echo Isles.
- Tribes: Vengeance beta dev kit v1.0.0.1 - Sierra has issued
a
beta development kit for Tribes: Vengeance, the new sci-fi first-person
shooter by Irrational Games. Word is: "Included in this kit is source code
that can be used to compile of all of the scripts used in Tribes: Vengeance.
- Sunny Games released new arcade game "Magic Pets" - A great evil
sorcerer stole the magic pets and hid them in his dark catacombs. Without the
magic pets, there is no equilibrium of forces, and the kingdom is doomed. The

Auto: San Andreas website now has samples from most of the fictional radio
stations that can be listened to while driving the vehicles in the upcoming

(unofficial) sources, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas has gone gold.

- DOOM 3 expansion pack confirmed - the December 2004 issue of
Computer Gaming World, in an
interview with Todd Hollenshead and Tim Willits from id Software, they said
that John Carmack had confirmed that a "DOOM 3 mission pack is on the way...".

- DOOM 3[CC] Voice to Text - The DOOM3[cc] team has put
together
this small mod which adds e-mails to the player's PDA for ALL of the video
disks that can be collected throughout the game.
- linuX-gamers DOOM 3 tweak guide - linuX-gamers have posted up
a tweak guide for the Linux version port of DOOM 3.
- Medal Of Honor: Pacific Assault Coming November 17th - Medal of
Honor Pacific Assault will be in stores on November, 17th!
- Half-Life 2 Gold? - The words uttered by an "industry insider", as
posted by the team over at
Computer and Video Games. There has been no official gold announcement as
yet, but it appears that Half-Life 2 has been sent to PEGI and BBFC for
certification. In addition, GameSpot and their
Rumor Control section state that Half-Life 2 has gone gold.
- No Multiplayer for Vampire: The Masqerade - Bloodlines - The newest
issue of PC Gamer magazine reveals that there will not be any multiplayer mode
for the upcoming first person action-RPG

- Interplay Making Money, But Not Enough - Interplay released its
operating results for the second quarter of 2004 and while at first glance
there may be some reason for optimism, the company is far from being healthy
again. Not all is bad news, as
Interplay has received notice from NASDAQ that the company will remain
listed.
- Painkiller Official 2005 CPL World Tour Game - DreamCatcher Games
and The Cyberathlete Professional League today announced that
Painkiller is the
exclusive official tournament game for the upcoming
CPL World Tour.
- Why The CPL Didn't Choose UT2004 - In the
cached.net comments is a post by Angel Munoz commenting on why The CPL did
not choose UT2004 for their world tour: "A wide range of aspects were taken
into consideration, including publisher/developer support for the entire tour.
Unfortunately, Epic is transitioning to a new publisher and it was not
expected that their current publisher would help us in marketing the game/tour
through the end 2005. Additionally, there is a new UT in the works, but

- Sony executive hints at PSP launch delay - The first suggestion
that
Sony may be forced to delay the launch of PSP has come from Sony Computer
Entertainment network systems boss Izumi Kawanishi, who told a Japanese
publication that the schedule depends largely on game publishers.
