GXP: Do you have a certain preference for Action-RPGs and Cyberpunk, or where does the idea come from to set a game of this genre in this type of setting? JAN BEUCK: We are great fans of the pen-and-paper roleplaygame "Shadowrun" and when we started first concepts of the game, we were pretty much impressed by the visuals of "The Matrix". Actually we were also influenced by motion pictures like "Terminator 2", "Mission Impossible" and "Bladerunner" but the main impact to put the game into this kind of scenario came from "Shadowrun". In addition I have to mention that there are too many classic RPGs. Always the same enemies, magic spells, quests and surroundings: That is too boring for us!
