Graphically Red Orchestra uses the same Unreal Engine 2 version the original mod did but Tripwire have definately pushed the engine to its limits for the stand alone game. The three maps we checked out had some incredible art textures and the visual effects such as fire and explosions are well handled. In game weapon models are solid as well. Perhaps the only clue that this is an Unreal Engine 2 game are the character models which while well done for this version of the engine don't quite compare to the current generation games like Call of Duty 2. While the beta version was online only, the full version will also include support for multiplayer bots for offline play. We will have to see how those work when the final game is released.
