As expected, Team Rainbow's arsenal expands with the addition of seven new weapons, for a grand total of 64. These include the Beretta M93R pistol, the HK G3KA4 assault rifle (this slimmed-down version of the G3 is a beauty for heavy-duty room clearing), the Benelli M4 Super 90 (another superb CT weapon for CQB duty and blowing door hinges, etc.), the FN M240 machinegun (versatile and gas-cooled), and the HK SL8-1 sniper rifle (a civilian version of a modified G36). It's enough to make any tactical fan dizzy. Along with the additional weapons, Ubi Soft hired the sound team from The Matrix to add more realistic weapon sound effects and game ambience for gamers with surround sound rigs.
