Codemasters has released a batch of new screenshots from Race Driver 2: The Ultimate Racing Simulator, the upcoming racing sim sequel to last year's Pro Race Driver. The PC-Xbox game is scheduled for release in spring 2004.

In a global exclusive, Race Driver 2: The Ultimate Racing Simulator, will be the first video game to fully simulate the new Aston Martin DB9, one of the world's most sophisticated and technically advanced sports cars ever. The 6.0-litre, 450 bhp, V12 Aston Martin DB9 is just one of 35 of the world's most powerful racing and street cars in Race Driver 2 that will make you feel like a race gaming god. Along with the DB9, other cars featured include the Aston Martin DB5, famous for its appearances in James Bond films, the fabulous Ford GT, the super fast Koenig C62, the Land Rover Bowler Wildcat, the Nissan Skyline GT-R (R34), and the Jaguar XJ220. Race Driver 2 also boasts the most diverse range of insanely fast motorsports ever seen in one game, including GT Sports Car Racing, Street Racing, Rally, DTM, V8 Supercars, Global GT Lights, Rally Cross, Formula Ford, Open Wheel Grand Prix and Classic Car Racing. The game features 52 racing circuits at world famous locations including Laguna Seca, Surfers Paradise, Euro Speedway, Donington Park, Kyalami and Road America.

Yaya sure sure... believe it when I see it. Graphics look a little too unbelievable, especially from a company who made IGI 2 and the operative can die from falling 3ft. LOL! Nice artists conception shots tho..

me neither...After the HalfLife stuff and then Invisible War BS screenshots, I don't believe nothing anymore. This looks way too good to be true.

Those shots are the same detail i get with TOCA Race Driver on my PC. If you guy's think they are not real, then you need to seriously look at your graphics cards! Because that IS in-game shots. Look at the exhausts closely and you'll see they aren't exactly round ROFL

These screenshots are real I bought the game yesterday. And it really rocks, you can drive really anything, iceracing with a aston martin, and powerfull road racing with a seat rally car that has real good grip due to downforce you can also tune your car with the downforce and suspension and stuff, and it really helps when you tweak the settings graphics are amazing, i played the demo and wanted the real game cause it rocks each car has it's own behavior on the road, and you need to addapt to it's behavior. like if you play the Range rover championship, and after that you play the DTM race, you are amazed with the grip compared to the range rover. the details are really great. when you are looking from the hood-cam the world reflects perfect in the metalic paint of the car
