- Post a comment PUBG: Black Budget is an upcoming tactical extraction shooter from PUBG Corporation. It is designed as a first-person perspective game focusing on tension, survival, and exploration rather than just combat. Set on a mysterious island called Coli trapped in a time loop affected by a supernatural phenomenon called the Anomaly, players engage in PvPvE encounters while hunting for classified technology and uncovering the secrets of a black-budget program called SAPIENS.
The gameplay features three-player squads in 45-player sessions with mission sessions lasting up to 30 minutes, combining exploration, combat, and extraction. Players keep whatever they extract, but if they die, they lose what they brought unless kept in "safe pockets" in their inventory. The game incorporates dynamic PvP and PvE elements as well as faction-exclusive gear and weapon customization. The playable area shrinks due to the Anomaly, creating tense and unpredictable scenarios similar to PUBG's blue zone.
PUBG: Black Budget will have matchmaking based on level and squad composition, which helps balance encounters. The game is set to have closed alpha playtests from December 12–14 and December 19–21, 2025, with interested players able to register on Steam.
Minimum system requirements are relatively high compared to the original PUBG, needing at least an Intel i5-8400 or Ryzen 5 2600 CPU, 16 GB RAM, and an Nvidia RTX 2060 or equivalent GPU. Recommended specs are around an i5 12400, Ryzen 5 5600, and RTX 3070 or Radeon 6800. |
