As a special holiday treat, GameTap has added Double Fine's action game - Psychonauts to it's ever growing list of free games. If you have never played it, I highly suggest you head over to GameTap, sign up for a free account and check it out. It's a great 3D platformer game with a terrific art style and engaging gameplay. This edition of Psychonauts can be played for free until the end of this year.

Psychonauts is an absolute brilliantly funny and clever game.
If you enjoyed Grim Fandango, Monkey Island ,Day of the Tentacle or the Simon series, then this will float your boat!
Look forward to the follow up, as there *has to be* a follow up.

Even though there *has to be* a follow up, the game didn't sell well, so there actually won't be a successor. Same as with Beyond Good & Evil. Incredible game, very fun in every aspect, beautiful and unique, gets into my Top 3 Games of all times. The ending said there *has to be* a follow up, but yet again the game didn't sell well, so no successor planned. Only BGE has at least rumours of BGE2 being in production, whereas Psychonauts doesn't even have that...
Ah, this cruel world.
