According to Chart-Track via GamesIndustry, the PS3 is the fastest selling home console in the United Kingdom ... EVER! Yeah, EVER... Chart-Track has confirmed to GamesIndustry.biz that UK consumers snapped up 165,000 PlayStation 3 units in the two days following the console's launch. That makes PS3 the fastest-selling home console in history, beating the Wii - which shifted 105,000 units during its launch weekend - and Xbox 360, with 70,000 sold. Both Nintendo and Microsoft struggled to meet demand with their consoles, leading to stock shortages - but Sony previously stated that the UK would get around 220,000 of the 1 million PS3 units allocated to Europe for launch.
While this is good news for Sony, don't go taking it as there being more interest in the PS3. Both the 360 and the Wii sold out in the UK on their opening weekends. Looking at those numbers, Sony did not. Now, nobody can say for sure that either Nintendo or Microsoft would have still sold out if they had shipped as many units as Sony did, but we can certainly speculate...

Everything, literally EVERYTHING is "gay" to him. Someone shoots him: "That's so gay." He dies: "GAY!!!" Someone grabs the flag before he does: "OMG YOU FAG!!!" The worst is when something actually particularly lame happens to him, like he has the flag and is just about to return it, but gets lag a split second before and then gets sniped during that time, so the win doesn't register: "OH MY GOD... THAT WAS SO...FUCKING...GAY!!!!!!!!!" Then will rant incessantly on how incredible gay what just happened was.
Characteristics: Everything is gay to him. You're gay, your computer is gay, the network is gay, the game is gay, and everything that happens in the game is utterly, horribly gay."
