Codemasters sent along a some new screenshots of Project IGI 2: Covert Strike, their upcoming first-person shooter, sequel to Eidos' Project IGI. In this strong team-based multiplayer game you will play the role of a British agent working for a US military organization as you root the enemies inner workings. The spiralling plot will take you through Russia, across Libya and into China in three linked campaigns, as you infiltrate a wide variety of locations including military airbases, harbours and secret government installations. IGI 2 is expected for release in June 2002.

So you game developers think your project IGI was cool enough to do a sequel well since you did not include industry standard cheat codes and a save game feature in the 1st IGI I cant support you by purchasing IGI 2

What, cheat codes are required for a good game? I thought skill was. Also, most games are easy - take RTCW for instance - Death Incarnate is a walk throught the park. I hate in game save capability. Try playing Thief - the dark project on it's hardest level without saving, and it becomes a whole new games full of excitement instead of only somewhat entertaining. When you get killed with a saved game to back you up, it's no big deal other than a minor setback, but if you have to start the level over, you think twice, strategize more, and generally plan out your actions instead of sitting mindless in front of a computer screen. Suggestion - go watch TV if you don't like it. It's about the same level of input. -X

These creeps at Codemasters implement anti-piracy code in their games which will make the game lag enormously, don't buy this shit unless you have a $2.000 computer...
