Valve sent us a short press release annoucing that they are accepting pre-orders for Counter-Strike: Condition Zero through the Steam service. Here is the deal:

Counter-Strike: Condition Zero Steam pre-orders start today and include a special offer for Counter-Strike players. If you already have Steam and wish to pre-order your copy, just double-click on Counter-Strike: Condition Zero in the "Coming Soon" section of your 'My Games' list. If you don't have Steam, install it today. Those who pre-order their copy on Steam can start playing the minute the game is released. For more information, please visit www.steampowered.co m.

selling CS:CZ over steam??? LOL... how much crapper can valve's games get?? spent 5hrs downloading it, and still wont be able to play it! rofl

I will never buy or support a game over steam. These bastards, just to save some money. I really hope that there aren't ediots out there that actually want to get a game over steam and ineffect ruin it for all of us. I already don't like the idea with xbox live not only do you have to give your CC info when you sign up but if you want to download so called SPECIAL stuff pay online. What the HELL.
