Publisher Kalypso Media and developer Torus Games have released the Gamescom 2019 trailer for Praetorians HD Remaster.

Praetorians HD Remaster is due out for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC (Steam) in Q4 2019.

ENOUGH WITH THE LAME REMASTERS.
I was having a conversation the other night about stupid remasters.
Started with movies, Hellboy was a meh movie and now there is a remastered version. WHY? It wasn't the best when the original came out so why even bother remaking a meh film?
Same goes with games. They remake old games and have absolutely no original thought process so they name it the same as the original. Tomb raider for example. Doom, Wolfenstein, the list goes on and on (I cant think of any atm, its really late and i'm tired)
I blame dope (its in the name, it makes you stupid)
The film makers, companies are smoking too much dope and now nobody has an original thought in their head. So because they are so dumb they just remake old movies and games with the same name and thats how they make money. Steal the original idea, make it work on current formats and profit.
But with games they make more money by cutting it up, releasing "season passes" so instead of buying 1 game you are buying 60% of the game for 100% of the price then you are forced to buy the other 40% of the game at 100% of the price again. Ripping off the gamer, thinking they are getting extras but they are not, they are still getting 100% of the game but paying twice what they should be paying. The stupid thing is YOU ARE AGREEING TO THIS!!! STOP buying their overpriced DLCs.

When will the world wake up. Dope makes you stupid. You no longer have an original thought in your stupid heads. You pay for overpriced software and buy old movies again and again. The problem with the movies is the originals are usually great movies and the remakes are mostly shit. They put in well known actors and actresses and just screw up the script, add politically correct bullshit and screw things up even more, then put the original name on it and pass it off as a new movie (Ghostbusters).
That was an abomination and should never have been released. How do you think Harold Ramis would be thinking now after his masterpiece is ruined by that pile of elephant crap.

I remember many years ago gamers got together and complained about games being overpriced. We NEED to do it again. No more cutting up games and releasing half as overpriced DLC. No more loot boxes, not more In App Purchases. They keep saying they are "for the players" then prove it. $ony, start enabling cross play, cross save. Devs, stop the loot boxes, devs, stop cutting up games into dlc pieces. Start being there for the gamers. Prove you care about the games you are making and not your fat wallets.

You will get paid anyway, just show us some love. We have been screwed around for too long and its time we stood up against your money hungry publishers and got back to the roots of gaming.

If you want to make DLC then go ahead and do it properly. release the game in its entirely then AFTER its released make real DLC not cut up the game and release parts later.
Look at the original DLC for example, Doom. It was released, then Doom 2, the I think Doom 1 got DLC then Doom 2 got some DLC. The games were released complete. 6 months or so later DLC was made and released. THATS HOW REAL DLC IS MADE.
DLC used to be a thank you for buying and enjoying our game. It was a thank you piece of software. Now its a money grab and part of the original game,
