Post-Apocalyptic RTS 'Apox' Announced - briefly

India based developer BlueGiant Interactive has announced a new real-time strategy game which goes under the name of APOX. The game will be a post-apocalyptic Mad Max style RTS, with elements from both FPS and RPG genres incorporated. The studio is currently recruiting beta testers and will be adding players to their closed beta program sometime during mid to late September. The game is scheduled for a Q4/2010 release for PC and Mac. Key Features of APOX
- Prone, cover, and realistic line-of-fire
- Realistic ammo and fuel supply system
- Soldiers can be placed in vehicles to create new unit types
- Over 100 maps
- Map editor for player-designed maps and game modes
- Supports multiplayer games with up to 32 players
