The leak comes from Twitter user Komachi, hinting towards the fact that the upcoming PS5 will feature a GPU clocked to 2 GHz. Twitter user Is A Parrot further elaborates on the tweet saying that “This equates to 9.2 TF on the RDNA architecture. Or roughly 14 TF on the GCN Architecture aka over double the power of the X1X. Almost RTX2080 power.” Given the fact that the PS4 Pro was roughly around 4.2 TF and the Xbox One X at 6 TF, this is a huge performance bump. We can see how close it is to the RTX 2080 given the fact that 2080 can dish out around 10.1 TF.

Another link has been discovered adding credibility to the previous leak.

1. Oberon codename uses an Ariel GPU.
2. Ariel is linked to the Gonzalo APU.
3. Oberon clocks of 800 mhz and 911 mhz are a that of PS4 and PS4 Pro for backwards compatibility

Further speaking about the leak, there are three clock speeds the GPU will be running on. 0.800 GHz, 0.911 GHz and 2.0 GHz. The first two clock speeds are for PS4 and PS4 Pro backward compatibility respectively. Assuming the leak to be true, the PS5 should be able to run at 4K without breaking a sweat. Let’s not forget the fact that the PS5 will also be having Raytracing support. That being said, this is still a leak so take it with a grain of salt. With PSX rumored to be taking place in December, and the PS5 slated for a Feb 2020 launch, it won’t be long until we hear official information.

both xbox and playstation will use navi gpu. Navi is developed for consoles. What came to PC market is just a leak from that development.

The one thing PS4 got right was the controller. Do that with a bigger or replaceable battery and you're good for PS5 again. I care not much for the console itself, I plug the PS4 controller in my PC.
